OUTSIDE / IN: An Exploration into the Pigmentation of Plants takes readers on a captivating journey into the unseen world of plant coloration. Inspired by the groundbreaking research of botanist David Lee, the book delves into the intricate structures of petals and leaves sourced from Miami’s Tropical Botanic Garden. These vibrant specimens reveal the sophisticated ways plants absorb and reflect light, harnessing it as an energy source and visual signal essential for survival. From ancient rituals to the vibrant palettes of classical painters and today’s horticultural innovations, plant color has profoundly shaped human history and culture, weaving its influence across disciplines and eras.
Produced in collaboration with The Center for Subtropical Affairs, Make_Good_Design, Miami Botan, and Fairchild Tropical Gardens, OUTSIDE / IN showcases vivid microscopic images captured by Jack D. Hahn and color swatches named by Amanda Keeley. Designed by Brett Oliveri, with inspiration drawn from the iconic work of landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx, the book is both a scientific exploration and an artistic homage. With contributions by Casey Zap and Daniel Perlin, this beautifully crafted publication invites readers to marvel at the hidden complexities of nature while celebrating Miami’s tropical sanctuary—a last wild heart teeming with life and light. Special thanks to Oggetti for making this project possible.

For the 2014 release of KEEN's unusual yet innovative casual shoe the UNEEK. I was asked to design a booklet/poster to introduce the product, the inventive process and evolution behind how it was created. The main concept was to tell a story when unfolded. Ultimately we decided to focus closely on the curves and patterns of it's interwoven strings and closeups of other key parts of the shoe.
Huntsmen & Hounds is a niche clothing and accessory brand inspired by horseback riding, the environment, and antique equestrian style. I helped create a fun promotional Zine that digs into the history of riding, while showcasing the product and mood of H&H.
Live Monumental is a campaign by KEEN with the aim to designate 5 beautiful and unique natural areas around the United states as national monuments. A bright yellow caravan set out from Portland, OR, to Washington D.C. to promote the cause and gain signatures along the way. Swag items including hats, badges, and stickers were created to encompase the optimism of antique travel stamps and WPA posters simplified with a refreshing modern twist of stylishness. I was lucky enough to join the traveling yellow submarine on a week-long leg of the ever-moving trip.

Based on a bird's eye view of Portland these insoles were designed to reflect the artistry found in the "Bridge City" of Portland, OR. Taking inspiration from sketchbooks, blueprints, and process work, this pattern was created to reflect just that...and add a little surprise to the everyday shoe slip-on experience.
